Fresh produce, every day, for the kitchens and markets of Los Angeles.
King Quality Produce is a family-run wholesale distributor in the LA produce district. We buy from our own growers across Mexico, the Southwest and California, receive fresh every day, deliver within five miles of our warehouse and ship to all 50 states.
Received every morning, out the door the same day.
Our warehouse sits in the heart of the Los Angeles produce district. Trucks from our growers arrive overnight, we grade and cold-store what comes in, and buyers get product that was in the field days ago, not weeks.
- Our own growers and a small circle of trusted farms, so we know how each lot was grown and handled.
- Fancy, Extra Fancy and #2 grades, sized to your spec, so your line gets the same product every week.
- Cold chain from the field to your door, with HACCP-certified handling in our warehouse.

Where it grows
We follow the harvest through the year so the same items stay on your order sheet.
Mexico
Cucumbers, squash, beans and peppers through the winter and spring, from growers we have worked with for years.
The Southwest
Desert growing areas that bridge the seasons, including the Coachella Valley for the first grapes of the year.
California
Summer vegetables and herbs from Ventura County and the Central Valley, and persimmons, pomegranates and grapes from around Fresno.
Transportation and logistics
Our trucks run overnight from the growing regions so product is on our dock before the market opens. From there it goes out four ways: our own local routes, third-party delivery outside our zone, will-call at the warehouse, or refrigerated freight to any of the 50 states.
- Overnight hauls from Mexico, the Southwest and California, refrigerated the whole way.
- Local delivery routes within five miles of the warehouse, on produce-market hours.
- Third-party delivery arranged for addresses outside our zone.
- Palletized, cold-chained shipping to all 50 states, quoted with your order.
